OLPH LITTLE CHURCH POLICIES

Welcome to Little Church! At Little Church, our mission is to enlighten and share with your child the wonders of God’s love. Our curriculum is based on the Discovering God series. It is an age appropriate program which lets the children learn about God at their own level through the world He created for them. To ensure that our Little Church Program continues to run smoothly and safely, please be aware of the following:

Ø Classes begin promptly at 10:00am. Your child must be signed in by the parent/guardian before going to Mass

Ø Class is one (1) full hour

Ø Please pick up your child promptly at 11:00am or right after Mass

Ø When class is finished, teachers will open the back door of the classroom. Your child must be signed out. Children will only be released to a parent/guardian.

Ø All children must be potty trained.

Ø Please remind your child to use the bathroom before class.

Ø After class is the best time to ask the teacher any questions/concerns you may have

Ø Please arrive by 9:45am when it is your day to assist in the classroom.

Ø Creative activities are an integral part of the lessons. Washable, neat clothing is the proper dress for class.

Ø Due to liability laws, a parent/guardian must remain on church property while their child is in Little Church.

Ø Unfortunately, there is not enough time for show and tell. Please keep all toys at home. OLPH will not be responsible for any lost or broken toys.

Ø Consistent attendance is an absolute necessity because of limited space and the popularity of the program. Three (3) unexcused absences may be cause for removal from the program. Should your child be unable to attend class, either inform the teacher in advance, or call Kelly Zancanaro (661) 645-4268.

Ø Class time is for all children to enjoy. If a child is being extremely disruptive during class, he/she will be brought to the Little Church office for the remainder of the class. If the child is brought to the office three (3) times, they will be removed from the program.
